Workshops Workshops given by Terri Camp The workshops I have available include: Ignite the Fire! This workshop deals with the importance of seeking God in the education of your children. I also talk about many different SPARKS that you can use with your children to help get them excited about learning. I can also focus on teens or younger kids in the Ignite the Fire workshops. Igniting the Fire with Notebooks, Projects, and Read-alouds! This is part two of the Ignite the Fire! Workshop. It is loaded with many hands on ideas, read aloud ideas, and discussing the concept of notebooks. I also do a combination workshop, which includes the two workshops mentioned above. Putting the Fun into Home Education! This is a fast paced creative workshop. I go through over 50 items and the ways that you can use them in home schooling your own children. The items range from duct tape - roll end paper. And everything in between! How to Really be a Supermom!!!! In this workshop I go over the myth of Supermom. Then through scripture, I show the moms in attendance that when we use Christ as our strength, we can indeed become Supermom because it is when we are weak, that He is made strong. I wear a Supermom cape when doing this workshop. This one may also be done in pajamas, but is easily adaptable. Extinguishing Mommy Burnout A discussion forum to help moms deal with burnout and ways to avoid it. This workshop will break into groups for prayer. Moms will have an opportunity to share with one another and to receive much needed prayer. The Last Word with Terri Camp Have questions about home schooling? Come to the experts! YOU! Have you always wanted to pick the brain of fellow home schoolers to see what curriculum they use for Kindergarten, what to do with the 7 year-old who can't sit still, what philosophy works, what doesn't etc? This is THE workshop for answers to your questions…or perhaps you can answer someone else's questions? But I will always have the last word. I will even give away prizes. Note…I would lead this in "talk show host" fashion, walking around with a microphone, going to people with questions, and those with answers. This may not work very well on tape, but would be great for a conference. New Workshops Creativity for the Creatively Challenged This workshop is for those homeschool moms who often say, "But I'm not creative!" I help them to see that they can pull out creativity from ordinary things also using living books. This workshop is full of audience participation. Homeschooling for the Clueless Don't know the difference between CM and MUS? If all those acronyms confuse you or you simply want to discover the best method for your family, this is the workshop to attend. But I Don't Know Diddly Squat! How am I supposed to teach that? Whether you have a doctorate or didn't graduate from high school, we are all challenged by some of the subjects our children need, or desire to learn. This workshop will encourage you that you can teach your child! The Prayer of Momma The importance of praying for your children is discussed. Mom will walk away from this workshop with a renewed fervency to pray for her children, as well as tools to find the time in her day to focus on prayer. The last half of this workshop is spent praying for our children. 7 Secret Weapons for Battle Weary Moms 2 sessions We've all heard the verse, Do not grow weary in doing good, but many of us think, "I'm already weary." What's a weary mom to do? The 2 sessions of this workshop will help Mom recognize and battle the enemies in our lives such as, feelings of worthlessness, self-pity, fear, pride, guilt, sadness, and heart issues. Mom will walk away from this workshop ready to walk victoriously! I can also create a fun workshop for your topic.
